These FAQs should help you with most queries you might have.

What is your booking policy? 

Wedding bookings are made on a first come, first served basis. There is no minimum or maximum on the number of nights that you can book. Wedding bookings must be for the entire cottage (our 6-person half rate deal will not apply).

Where is Meadow Cottage?

The cottage is within the grounds of the farm, about 300m from the venue.

How far ahead can we book?

We are able to book you in up to 3 years ahead. 

Can you reserve the date while we ask friends and family if they want Meadow Cottage?

We don't hold dates speculatively - to guarantee your stay you will need to pay the booking deposit.

How should we make the booking?

Please message us through the website and we will answer you promptly. All wedding bookings will be made through this website.

What are your check-in and check-out times?

Check-in time is 3pm and check-out time is 11am. These times can’t be altered as we are then unable to take bookings the day before or after your stay.

My bridal party is staying in Meadow Cottage the night before our wedding. What happens after check-out?

The check-out time of 11am will allow bridal parties to transfer straight to the wedding venue.

My wedding ceremony starts at 2pm so my guests won't be able to check in to the cottage in time...

Your guests can drop their bags off in the cottage before the ceremony while it is being prepared. After the ceremony they will be able to walk down to the cottage if they want to. 

We want to book the cottage for two nights - is there a discount?

Yes, there is a small 5% discount on two night stays, assuming that the same people will be staying for both nights and, therefore, no cleaner is required.

We want to book for two nights - the bridal party on the first night and wedding guests on the second night. Is this OK and can we still get a discounted rate?

In this case we would ask that you make two separate bookings and we will arrange for the cottage to be fully cleaned between guests. Unfortunately, no discount will apply in this case.

How are the rooms allocated?

This is obviously up to you but, to simplify check-in, we recommend that the lead guest allocates rooms before arrival. Please look at the room layout and descriptions on this website and let your wedding planner know well in advance.

Who will greet us upon arrival?

In order to offer a seamless experience, the wedding team will arrange to meet you and will be on hand to assist you during your stay.
